I copied current Litecoin and changed only name/ports to see how little work these launches take. Put the diff on github as POMP. Not a launch.

Exactly the problem this thread started with.
Noise is temporary. Hashes are forever.
Diff is tiny. No hidden premine but the test reward is enormous and retarget is copied unchanged.
Reproducible builds or it did not happen.
If you keep testing it, use testnet. Do not post a mainnet wallet and say not a launch.
No private pools. No private builds.

Nothing mined. Repo stays public. If it goes beyond testnet, parameters get posted before genesis.
