The chain survived day one and the launch was genuinely simultaneous. The bad: the main download page stalled for forty seconds and two users copied an obsolete pool port from an early forum quote.

The pool saw no shares before public release. Peak launch load was modest. Next version should generate one canonical connection block that can be quoted without editing.

Credit where due: I expected either a premine argument or a broken Windows wallet. We got neither. I still expect most generated chains to die quickly.
